BOSTON — There wasn’t a dull moment in the Red Sox’s series against the New York Yankees at Fenway Park.
Sunday’s thriller was full of dingers and some exciting offense — at the expense of the pitching, though — and this one ultimately went to the Red Sox thanks to a two-run homer off the bat of catcher Christian Vazquez to give Boston an 8-7 win.
Red Sox starter David Price struggled again, but he still ended up getting credit for the win in Boston’s sweep of the Yankees.
