The Houston Texans enter Saturday’s AFC Wild Card playoff game against the Kansas City Chiefs as the underdogs, and that was before they learned defensive end Jadeveon Clowney wouldn’t play because of a foot injury.
Clowney has often dealt with injuries since being selected by Houston with the No. 1 pick in the 2014 NFL Draft. When Clowney has been healthy, him and reigning NFL Defensive Player of the Year J.J. Watt have formed a great pass-rushing duo.
Clowney played in 13 regular-season games and tallied 40 tackles with 4.5 sacks.
