Ronaldo fourth on all-time list of international scorers

Cristiano Ronaldo has Europe’s top three all-time leading marksmen in his sights after taking his tally to nine in four games in the European Qualifiers.

Ronaldo’s tally of 70 goals from 137 caps is good enough for fourth on the all-time list, moving ahead of Gerd Müller and Robbie Keane. Next in the 32-year-old’s sights is Miroslav Klose on 71. He has some way to go to catch Ferenc Puskás’s record of 84 goals, but if he continues at his current rate then there is every chance he will.
