A semi truck is leaking gas Thursday after a rollover crash in South Side Ashburn.
The truck crashed about 6:30 a.m. within the 7900 block of South Kedzie Avenue, in response to preliminary data from Chicago police.
No one was injured within the crash, but it surely did lead to a gas leakage, police mentioned. 79th Street is closed in each instructions as emergency crews reply.
The truck hit the close by railroad bridge through the crash and Metra SouthWest Service trains had been briefly halted whereas crews inspected the bridge for harm, Metra mentioned in a service alert. Train motion resumed with “extensive” delays by 8:22 a.m.
