WALHALLA, S.C. — A South Carolina girl who police say was driving drunk won’t be cited with a DUI as a result of her car of alternative was a toy truck.
News retailers quote police as saying that as a substitute they charged 25-year-old Megan Holman with public intoxication.
They say they noticed her cruising down the highway in a Power Wheels electrical toy truck after a caller reported a suspicious particular person on the road.
Officers say she was driving a couple of mile from her dwelling in Walhalla after they stopped her.
