A 17-year-old boy was critically wounded when he was shot Tuesday on the Southeast Side.
He was inside a car about 5:17 p.m. within the 10900 block of Avenue O when somebody approached him and opened fireplace, Chicago police stated.
The teen was struck within the again and aspect, police stated. He was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center in important situation.
No arrests have been made, and Area South detectives are investigating.
