I used this seat on my road bike at the century ride on last Sunday and it is absolutely awesome. I had a more expensive seat on my bike and used to have pain all the time. I highly recommend this seat. Don’t waste your money to purchase the expensive ones.

I’ve long been a proponent for noseless saddles for the sheer comfort of painless biking(See my other saddle reviews). However, when I acquired a vintage Raleigh road bike, the noseless saddles just did not look right nor felt as comfortable as when mounted on my mountain bikes. The saddle that came with the bike had to be tilted down quite sharply to relieve groin pain. I got another seat that was better and looked great on my bike, but I still had to tilt down to relieve discomfort. However, every ride seemed like a rough ride jarring those sensitive areas. I seriously contemplated getting bike shorts for the first time!

Fortunately, my local bike shop recommended trying a Cloud 9 saddle and I am so glad I did.

    Pros.
    Gel padding for bumpy roads
Vented cut-out to releave pain in sensitive areas
Long rail/spring to accomodate numerous fore/aft adjustments
    Excellent value for the price

    Cons.
Heavier than the more expensive saddles

I had to experiment with seat height, fore/aft adjustments and tilt angle to find the ‘sweet spot’. Although the saddle is now mounted in the horizontal position, the extra padding to the rear places the butt just slightly higher than the nose of the saddle (simulating a very slight tilt in my opinion). Coming from noseless saddle comfort, this is the next best thing.
