by Zack Cox on Thu, Nov 10, 2016 at 4:44PM 2,787 FOXBORO, Mass. — Was Martellus Bennett hoping to face his older brother, Seattle Seahawks defensive end Michael Bennett, this Sunday at Gillette Stadium? No, he was not. The New England Patriots tight end on Thursday said he’s “not upset at all” that the elder Bennett will be forced to sit out this weekend’s Patriots-Seahawks showdown after undergoing arthroscopic knee surgery last week. “Mike’s a hell of a player,” Benne... Check out what Dombrowski had to say on “NESN Sports Today,” presented by People’s United Bank, in the video above. More Stories Source link

Stephen A. Smith Destroys ‘Flaming Hypocrite’ Colin Kaepernick For Not Voting

Share this: Colin Kaepernick has been at the forefront of a prominent social justice movement since August. He’s been very outspoken about injustices toward minorities in America and started a protest to demonstrate it. But when it came to make his voice heard at the polls, Kaepernick fell silent. The San Francisco 49ers quarterback has taken serious heat for declining to vote in the 2016 presidential election. On Wednesday, after Republican nominee Donald Trump secured the presidency, Kaepernick received what might be his harshest rebuke yet from ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith. “He comes across as a flaming hypocrite,” an incensed Smith said on ESPN’s “First Take.” “After all this noise that you made, even though you didn’t intended to do so, by offending our military

Metta World Peace Imagines A Country Where He’s President, And It’s Awesome

Share this: If you’re like some of us, you’re probably sick of the bickering on both sides of the aisle during this U.S. presidential campaign. Allow us to introduce a third party candidate: Metta World Peace. World Peace — or the artist formerly known as Ron Artest — got into the presidential spirit on Election Day by creating his own hashtag, #ifmettawaspresident, that described a world in which he’s our Commander in Chief. If anything, the Los Angeles Lakers forward is known for being an entertainer, and his string of tweets didn’t disappoint. Today is hashtag day .#ifmettawaspresident I would make it mandatory for referees in each sport to play their respective sport once a week — Metta World Peace (@MettaWorldPeace) November 8, 2016 Metta also made

Raiders Punter Marquette King Provides Best Celebration Of NFL Season

Share this: Raiders punter Marquette King pinned the Denver Broncos deep in their own territory late in the fourth quarter with Oakland leading 30-20 on “Sunday Night Football.” So, it was time to bust out what might be the best celebration of the NFL season. Knowing the NFL, King might get fined for this dance. But at least he provided some entertainment from a position most people disregard. Marquette King is my new favorite NFL player 💯 — Chad Johnson (@ochocinco) November 7, 2016 The Raiders sit in first place in the AFC West division with a 7-2 record. More Stories Source link

Reggie Wayne Fires Back At Angry Patriots Fans After Tom Brady Opinion

Share this: Former Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Reggie Wayne ticked off a lot of Patriots fans this week when he said on “NFL Total Access” that New England quarterback Tom Brady shouldn’t win the MVP award this season because “he was caught cheating this year.” The anti-Brady-for-MVP argument can be rationalized, even if one doesn’t necessarily agree with the overall sentiment. Brady missed the first four games of the season because of his Deflategate suspension, so his cumulative statistics aren’t there just yet, though other metrics prove beyond a doubt he’s been the best quarterback — maybe the best player — in the league since returning in Week 5. What can’t be rationalized is Wayne’s total disregard for the facts. The whole Deflategate
