Here’s Why Kyle Schwarber Won’t Start World Series Games For Cubs In Chicago

Share this: The Chicago Cubs now must pick their spots with Kyle Schwarber as the World Series shifts to the Windy City for Games 3, 4 and 5. Schwarber, who had been expected to miss the entire season after tearing two ligaments in his knee back in April, returned for Games 1 and 2 against the Cleveland Indians at Progressive Field. But neither team will have the luxury of using a designated hitter for Games 3 through 5 at Wrigley Field, where National League rules will apply, and that’s problematic for Chicago because Schwarber wasn’t medically cleared to play the field, according to Cubs president of baseball operations Theo Epstein on Thursday. Epstein says lengthy phone conversations with doctors and say Schwarber not

Lorenzo: “I‘m not expecting issues with tyre temperature"

Jorge Lorenzo (Movistar Yamaha MotoGP) had a tough weekend in Phillip Island that saw him take home P6 in cooler temperatures. Struggling to warm up the tyres has been an issue for some in 2016, but the heat of Sepang International Circuit is sure to go a long way to counteract the issue for those affected – as well as creating the daunting physical challenge of the 40 minute race in extreme conditions. With new asphalt in Malaysia, it’s back to square one for all the grid despite the pre-season test at the venue, and Lorenzo has his sights on the podium. Source link

Malcolm Butler’s Interception Celebration Vs. Steelers Was A Sight To Behold

by Zack Cox on Sun, Oct 23, 2016 at 4:57PM 2,732 Share this: Malcolm Butler celebrated his first interception of the season with one of the more … um, interesting celebrations we’ve seen this year. After stepping in front of Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown to pick off a Landry Jones pass Sunday, the New England Patriots cornerback launched into a dance that looked like a cross between Brown’s hip-thrust celebration and a Wacky Waving Inflatable Arm Flailing Tube Man. Though this was Butler’s first interception, he entered Sunday with eight pass breakups in six games — tied for second in the NFL. Thumbnail photo via Mark J. Kevin Durant Tells All In Rolling Stone Interview But Gets Roasted For Cover

Share this: Kevin Durant revealed some interesting information in a recent Rolling Stone interview, but he’s getting more attention for the magazine’s cover instead. The Golden State Warriors forward said, among other things, that he and former Oklahoma City Thunder teammate Russell Westbrook were never more than “work friends” and that he wouldn’t have signed with the Warriors as a free agent if they beat the Cleveland Cavaliers this past NBA Finals. But it was KD’s outfit that had the Internet buzzing. Twitter had an absolute field day with the photo. Durant looks like the uncle that hangs around the courts, challenges kids to pick up games and talks of how he could have went pro https://t.co/Kr0wmiLiwv — Shawn Tracey (@shawntracey26) October 19, 2016 We’re not sure Uncle
