It also earned him an animal namesake. After Flowers recorded 2 1/2 sacks and five quarterback hits in the Patriots’ win over the Atlanta Falcons, the Mystic Aquarium in Connecticut announced it had named a 9-month-old rescued harbor seal after the young defensive end. On Tuesday, with a smiling Flowers in attendance, the aquarium released “Trey” back into the wild. Flowers, a second-year pro who lost nearly his entire rookie season to injury, was the Patriots’ most productive pass rusher this season, leading the team with seven sacks. Colin Miller Ejected, Alexander Burmistrov Stretchered Off After Hard Hit
Share this: The Boston Bruins’ matchup with the Arizona Coyotes on Tuesday night came to a halt at the 16:11 mark in the second period after a scary-looking situation on the TD Garden ice. B’s defenseman Colin Miller leveled Coyotes forward Alexander Burmistrov with a hard hit near the blue line. Burmistrov remained down on the ice for quite some time before he was taken off on a stretcher. Here are a couple looks at the controversial play: Miller was given a game misconduct and was ejected for the hit. Burmistrov gave two thumbs up as he was stretchered off. After an eventful off-season, Formula One finally is back. Preseason testing begins Monday, but the sport has been abuzz for almost a week now, as teams unveiled their new cars. The new technical regulations that are being introduced for the 2017 season will supposedly result in cars that are between four and five seconds quicker per lap.
