Share this: Tuesday was a big night at Fenway Park, and not just because the Toronto Blue Jays are in town. The Boston Red Sox are hosting “Game of Thrones” night at Fenway Park, and as part of the promotional night, fans got to take home a “GOT”- themed Andrew Benintendi bobblehead doll. Red Sox pitcher Rick Porcello, who has watched a few seasons of the hit television show, was a big fan of the bobblehead doll because he believes Benintendi is a “hero” for Boston in the outfield. Porcello spoke to NESN’s Rachel Holt about “Game of Thrones” night and the outfield’s dance moves during a Facebook Live on Tuesday night. The Rangers and Boston Red Sox were tied in the 11th inning when Texas intentionally walked Pedroia to face Benintendi with the bases loaded and one out. Benintendi dumped a two-run single over the head of Rangers shortstop Elvis Andrus to give the Red Sox a 7-5 victory at Globe Life Park. The young left fielder tallied his first career walk-off hit during the Red Sox’s 4-3 win in 12 innings over the Philadelphia Phillies at Fenway Park on Tuesday night. Benintendi ripped a laser over the head of right fielder Aaron Altherr to score Xander Bogaerts and send the Fenway Faithful into a frenzy. The Red Sox will head to Philadelphia for two more against the Phillies before moving on to the Houston to face the Astros, and finishing the trip in Kansas City against the Royals.
