Brady’s mother, Galynn, was on hand at Gillette Stadium to watch the game and was honored on the field beforehand as part of the NFL’s “Crucial Catch” initiative. Roger Goodell Finally Plans To Attend Another Patriots Game At Gillette Stadium
Share this: New England Patriots fans, practice your boos. Roger Goodell said Tuesday at the NFL Annual Meeting that he plans to attend the Patriots’ Week 1 Thursday Night kickoff game at Gillette Stadium. The Boston Globe’s Ben Volin asked Goodell if he knew exactly where he would be the night of Sept. 7. “I don’t, but I plan on being at the kickoff game,” Goodell said at his annual news conference. The Patriots’ opponent has yet to be determined, though a Super Bowl LI rematch against the Atlanta Falcons has been rumored since the Atlanta Falcons will play a game in New England this season. Other possibilities include the Miami Dolphins, Kansas City Chiefs or Houston Texans. Goodell hasn’t attended a game at Gillette Stadium
Julian Edelman Responds To Tom Brady’s Missing Jersey Suspect Board
Share this: The NFL is in the offseason, but there is one pressing question around New England: Where is Tom Brady’s Super Bowl LI jersey? After the Patriots miraculously defeated the Atlanta Falcons on Feb. 5, Brady revealed in the locker room that someone had stolen his game jersey. In an attempt to find the jersey, which Patriots owner Robert Kraft likened to a “priceless piece of art,” Brady created a “suspect board” which he shared on his Instagram Wednesday. The Patriots QB listed Julian Edelman as a primary suspect, which would make sense given the two’s close friendship. Edelman responded to Brady’s suspect board, ensuring his quarterback that they’d eventually find the jersey. Given Edelman and Brady’s tendency to thrive in pressure-filled moments, we wouldn’t
This Mardis Gras Float Piling On Falcons’ Super Bowl Loss Is Ruthless
Share this: Some folks in New Orleans really enjoyed watching the Atlanta Falcons lose to the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LI. At least that’s what we can gather from this ruthless Mardi Gras float piling on the “ringless” Falcons. The Falcons now are 0-2 in Super Bowls, which plenty of New Orleans Saints fans probably are OK with seeing as how the teams both play in the NFC South. The Saints are coming off a season in which they went 7-9 and missed the playoffs, but New Orleans always will have its Super Bowl XLIV win over the Indianapolis Colts, while Atlanta forever will have to live with being the team that was on the losing end of the biggest comeback in

by Zack Cox on Wed, Feb 8, 2017 at 4:29PM 1,912 On Tuesday, I published a list of players I viewed as unsung heroes in the New England Patriots’ historic Super Bowl LI win over the Atlanta Falcons. I mentioned Trey Flowers’ gigantic sacks, Malcolm Mitchell’s and Danny Amendola’s clutch fourth-quarter catches and Stephen Gostkowski’s proficiency on kickoffs, with a note that Gostkowski was lucky his missed extra point didn’t come back to bite the Patriots in the behind. But af... NESN.com
