While this might have come as a disappointment to Celtics fans, it came as a sigh of relief to one of Boston’s Eastern Conference rivals: The Cleveland Cavaliers. It has been a stellar 2011 season for Josh Reddick, who has taken Red Sox Nation by storm with his contributions in place of the injured J.D. Drew. The right fielder is hitting .338 with five home runs and 23 RBIs in 46 games for Boston this season. On Sunday night he proved he can come through in the clutch, ripping a single down the left field line that allowed the Sox to take a 3-2 win in extra innings over the Yankees. The 24-year-old has quickly become a fan favorite in Boston, popular enough to earn his own blockbuster film -- sort of.
