A 17-year-old boy was shot in his face Monday afternoon on the Bloomingdale Trail between the Logan Square and Humboldt Park neighborhoods on the Northwest Side. Authorities responded about 12:30 p.m. to a capturing on the path within the 1800 block of North Drake Avenue, Chicago police and hearth officers mentioned. The boy was taken to Mt. Sinai Hospital with a gunshot wound to his nostril, police mentioned. His situation was not recognized. Additional particulars haven't been launched. Prosecutors have dominated that Bloomingdale law enforcement officials had been justified within the deadly taking pictures of a person who allegedly threatened them with a knife earlier this 12 months in west suburban Glendale Heights.
