The term “fan” is short for “fanatic,” which means we shouldn’t be surprised when fans do dumb things to show their fandom. Near the top of that “dumb things” list is getting a championship tattoo before your team actually wins a championship. That’s what Dallas Cowboys fan Jordan Garnett decided to do way back in December, predicting a Super Bowl LI Cowboys victory in permanent ink. Dallas, of course, won’t be winning Super Bowl LI, as Dak Prescott and Co. lost in heartbreaking fashion to the Green Bay Packers in the NFC Divisional Round. The Panthers stunned Clemson last week and shook up the College Football Playoff race. They already are bowl eligible, so they mostly have pride and bowl positioning left to play for this season. Panthers Fan Destroys TV During Epic Rampage Following Super Bowl 50 (Video)
Losing never is easy, and freakouts are bound to happen as a result. But one Carolina Panthers fan took things to a whole new level after his team fell to the Denver Broncos 24-10 in Super Bowl 50. Charles Green, aka “The Angry Grandpa,” apparently had some pent-up aggression, and he let it all out following Sunday’s game. He started his epic meltdown by ripping the TV off its stand and throwing it against a table. He then proceeded to hit it repeatedly with just about any object he could find.
