The application period to be part of the second year of the British Talent Cup began on 18th May and ran until June 17th, with prospective BTC riders invited to apply online at www.britishtalentcup.com for a chance to get an invite to the Selection Event. Strudwick storms Donington for first British Talent Cup win

By a few laps in, the lead trio had become a quartet of Strudwick, Whatley, Brian Hart and pole position man Cook as the four looked set to fight it out for the podium – but disaster struck soon after for Cook as he was a casualty of the tricky conditions, crashing out of contention.
