Avery Bradley’s Game-Winner Seals Celtics’ Game 3 Comeback Vs. Cavs

Share this: Avery Bradley said “I know I’m going to bring it” when asked about Game 3 following his team’s 44-point loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference finals Friday night. The Boston Celtics guard certainly brought it in Game 3, as he hit the game-winning shot with 0.1 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter to complete a 21-point comeback and secure the win at Quicken Loans Arena. Bradley scored 20 points with four assists in 42 minutes. He and Marcus Smart, who had a team-high 27 points, led the Celtics offensively with superstar guard Isaiah Thomas out for the rest of the playoffs with a hip injury. Khloe Kardashian Really Wants To Marry Tristan Thompson; LeBron, Cavs Against It

Khloe Kardashian appears to be willing to do whatever it takes to marry Tristan Thompson. According to RadarOnline, Kardashian reportedly is willing to pay for the entire wedding if the Cleveland Cavaliers forward agrees to walk down the aisle. “She’s set aside half a million bucks, which she figures will pay for the ceremony as well as dresses, catering, entertainment and a five-star honeymoon,” a source told RadarOnline. This isn’t the only form of bribery Kardashian has employed. Apparently, she’s been hooking Thompson up with lavish gifts including jewe... NESN.com

Al Horford’s Sister Bemoans Fact LeBron James Hand-Picked Teammates, As Cavs Rip…

Share this: Anna Horford is hating the player instead of the game. The sister of Boston Celtics center Al Horford aired one of her grievances with LeBron James on Friday during the Cleveland Cavaliers’ blowout win over the Celtics in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference finals. Anna Horford claims James’ influence over the Cavs’ organization has artificially tilted the scales in Cleveland’s favor and Boston’s detriment. Lebron got to literally hand pick his team… this is the result. — Anna Horford (@AnnaHorford) May 20, 2017 While there’s no way to prove how correct she is, let’s consider the timing: Boston was down by 14 points after the first quarter, around the time Horford made this comment. It appears to a be an example of

Marcus Smart Putback Dunk Caps 13-4 Run For Celtics In Game 1 Vs. Cavs

Share this: BOSTON — One of the greatest strengths Marcus Smart brings to the Boston Celtics is his energy. That was evident in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference finals at TD Garden on Wednesday night. The C’s guard got into a little scuffle with Cleveland Cavaliers forward Tristan Thompson late in the third quarter, with both players picking up a personal foul. Smart then capped a 13-4 run to end the frame with a powerful putback dunk as the Celtics trimmed Cleveland’s lead to under 20 to start the fourth quarter. It was one of the few exciting highlights for the Celtics in Game 1. Smart fouled out early in the fourth quarter. He finished with six points, three rebounds, three assists and two steals in

Game 1 of the Eastern Conference finals wasn’t pretty for the Boston Celtics. The Celtics entered the game riding high after advancing past the Washington Wizards and earning the No. 1 pick in the 2017 NBA Draft, but that enthusiasm did little to stop the Cavaliers in Cleveland’s 117-104 win at TD Garden. There were plenty of examples of the Cavs overpowering the Celtics throughout the game, but none can top what LeBron James did to Isaiah Thomas on this play. Ouch. Maybe Thomas and the C’s will have more luck Friday night in Game 2. Thumbnail photo via Bob DeChiara/USA TODAY Sports Images

Tyronn Lue Believes Cavaliers Better At Handshakes Than Playing Defense

Share this: The Cleveland Cavaliers have been dominating the 2017 NBA playoffs with a high-powered offense and elaborate handshakes. Their defense, on the other hand, has been suspect, to say the least. Well, coach Tyronn Lue was asked about his team’s handshakes Wednesday, and he wished they worked on their defensive schemes as much as their celebratory gestures. [embedded content] “I wish we could remember some of the defensive schemes that well,” Lue said, as transcribed by For The Win’s Alysha Tsuji. “Guys come inside like, ‘My bad, I forgot,’ but they remember all this and all that. I don’t know where they come up with that stuff at.” Perhaps the Cavs can come up with a unique handshake for their head coach, or just work on

Internet Thinks LeBron James Is Trolling Lonzo Ball’s Odd Shooting Motion

Share this: We see what you (probably) did there, LeBron James. The Cleveland Cavaliers superstar made a slight alteration to his pregame warmup Thursday before the Cavs’ matchup with the Chicago Bulls, and the internet thinks it might be a not-so-subtle message to the Ball family by seemingly mocking UCLA point guard and potential No. 1 overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft Lonzo Ball’s unorthodox shooting motion. You be the judge. James and the Balls have a history, as the outspoken LaVar Ball mentioned James’ kids in one of his many outlandish statements. James, understandably, wasn’t a fan of what LaVar said, but that didn’t seem to faze the elder Ball. So it doesn’t feel like a stretch for the internet to come to this conclusion. Thumbnail
