The third round of the PGA Championship at Baltusrol Golf Club was suspended Saturday after rainy conditions halted play before the leaders could tee off. Stormy conditions also are in the forecast for Sunday, but officials are planning for play to resume around 7 a.m. ET. The final round is scheduled to begin at 8:40 a.m. with the same pairs as the third round. Robert Streb and Jimmy Walker still are in the lead at 9-under-par, but Jason Day ( 7 under) and Henrik Stenson (6 under) are among the golfers still within striking distance. Jimmy Walker leads the 98th PGA Championship after 18 holes after shooting a 5-under-par 65, putting him one stroke clear of Emiliano Grillo, Ross Fisher and two-time major winner Martin Kaymer. Twenty golfers finished their rounds in red figures Thursday, including Rickie Fowler, Jason Day and Henrik Stenson.   But many of the other big names will have to battle simply to make the cut Friday during what is supposed to rainy conditions. WWE Championship Match Ends In Controversy Ahead Of SmackDown-Raw Draft

Dean Ambrose technically still is the WWE champion, but only after a controversial ending to his title match with former Shield partner Seth Rollins on “Monday Night Raw.” The match finished after a “Superplex,” but both men had their shoulders on the ground, resulting in a draw. That meant Ambrose, who entered the night as the champion, walked out of Providence’s Dunkin’ Donuts Center with the belt around his waist. Fans without the WWE Network might not know that, though, because the final decision wasn’t made until Raw went off the air. New Raw commissioner Stephanie McMahon had Rollins declared the champion at the end of the show, bu...

Donald Trump’s Walkoff Single Won 1964 Prep School Championship

Long before it was all about him, Donald Trump helped his baseball team win something. Citing longtime New York Military Academy coach Ted Dobias, The New York Times’ Victor Mather reported Thursday on the story of Trump’s game-winning hit in the 1964 Prep School Championship. “The score was 4-4 with runners on second and third,” Mather wrote. “In a pressure-packed situation, the batter delivered a hit to right-center to win the game. “That batter? Donald J. Trump.” So at least Trump can hang his hat on that. Click to see sports figures who have endorsed Trump >> Thumbnail photo via Lauren Petracca...
