Share this: There are so many great sports movies out there that it’s almost impossible to pick one favorite. But that was the task Boston Bruins fans had when NESN’s Guerin Austin recently asked them the Bud Light Ultimate Question at Wamesit Lanes in Tewksbury, Mass. The fans gave a diverse range of answers, although some of the headliners were “Rudy” and “Caddyshack.” Check out how fans responded in the “Ultimate Bruins Show” video above. Boston Bruins’ Power Play Struggling To Capitalize On Opportunities
The power play is the most glaring weakness for the Boston Bruins this season. The B’s have scored on just three of 38 opportunities with the man advantage, giving them the league’s second-worst success rate at 7.9 percent. It’s an area that must improve for the Bruins to return to the playoffs after a two-year absence. Check out the video above to hear Bruins players Patrice Bergeron and David Krejci discuss the team’s struggling power play, as seen on “NESN Sports Today” presented by People’s United Bank. ... Berkshire Bank Hockey Night In New England: Projected Bruins-Red Wings Lines, Pa…
Share this: He’s back (probably). Boston Bruins goalie Tuukka Rask is expected to back in net Saturday night when the B’s take on the Detroit Red Wings at Joe Louis Arena. Rask has missed the last three games, all of which were losses for the Bruins, so he’ll hope to stop the bleeding Saturday. However, that will be easier said than done with David Pastrnak serving the first game of his two-game suspension for an illegal check to the head. Also, the Red Wings have gotten out to one of the best starts in the NHL this season, although they won’t have Thomas Vanek in their lineup. Here are the projected lineups for both teams. The projected Detroit lines are according to MLive.com. BOSTON BRUINS (3-4-0)Brad

Bruins Had Special Kind Of Energy In Comeback Win Vs. Blue Jackets
Share this: The Boston Bruins looked to be stuck in the mud through the first half of Thursday’s season opener against the Columbus Blue Jackets, but a lot of fight and some special performances led to a 6-3 come-from-behind win. NESN’s Jack Edwards and Andy Brickley caught up with Bruins coach Claude Julien on “Bruins Overtime Live” to get his reaction to the performance. Check it out in the video above. Why Martellus Bennett Is More Like Randy Moss Than You’d Think
Share this: Martellus Bennett hasn’t shied away from discussing his discontent with the Chicago Bears, who traded him to the New England Patriots last offseason. But Bennett is one of the best tight ends in the league, and Chicago has been one of the worst teams in the league for several years — probably in part because they couldn’t figure out how to use him (or his teammates) properly. NESN.com’s Michaela Vernava was on hand at Gillette Stadium, and she caught up with NESN analyst and former Patriot Matt Chatham, who explained why Bennett is like another misfit player who found his way back to stardom once he was traded to New England. Check out their analysis, as seen on “NESN Sports Today” presented
