While the Boston Bruins patiently wait to see who they’ll match up in opposition to in subsequent week’s Stanley Cup Final, the San Jose Sharks and St. Louis Blues proceed to battle it out within the Conference finals for the highest spot within the west. But the Sharks got here out of Game 5 of the best-of-seven collection seemingly banged up. Heading into the third interval, it grew to become wildly obvious that the Sharks had been hurting massive time. At one level, 4 gamers (Joe Pavelski, Erik Karlsson, Joonas Donskoi and Tomas Hertl) had been within the locker room on the identical time, leaving the San Jose bench a bit understaffed. Isaiah Thomas Admits Cavs Vs. Celtics Eastern Conference Finals ‘Would Be Lovely’
Cleveland Cavaliers guard and former Boston Celtics star Isaiah Thomas has yet to play in a game this season, but he’s already looking toward the Eastern Conference finals. Thomas was asked recently during an interview with USA TODAY’s Sam Amick if having to get to the NBA Finals by way of beating the Celtics was ideal, and he seems to be on-board with the idea of a Boston-Cleveland showdown. “Oh, that would be lovely,” Thomas told Amick. “That would be the story that God made, and it probably will work that way. It always does. It always works — I’m not going to say in my favor, but it seems to always work out no
