Logan Ryan is a cornerback for the Tennessee Titans, but he appears to be serving as a general manager during the NFL offseason. The Titans have been one of the more active in the past few months. After bringing in new head coach Mike Vrabel, Tennessee made an immediate splash in free agency, signing former New England Patriots Malcolm Butler and Dion Lewis. Most of this year’s marquee free agents have found homes by this point, but there still is one superstar player out there: Ndamukong Suh. Suh was released by the Miami Dolphins at the turn of the new league year, and the Titans have been tied to rumors surrounding the defensive tackle ever

Why Patriots’ Eric Rowe Wouldn’t Dare Trash-Talk Tom Brady
by Zack Cox on Thu, Jun 8, 2017 at 2:30PM 2,805 Share this: FOXBORO, Mass. — Eric Rowe was the only player to intercept a Tom Brady pass during the New England Patriots’ mandatory minicamp this week. Even in practice, Brady interceptions are few and far between. But Rowe, who’s entering his second season with the Patriots, didn’t even think about celebrating his big defensive play, which came Thursday during the third and final minicamp practice. He knows better. “Oh, no,” the cornerback said when asked if he ever talks trash to Brady. “(Linebacker Elandon Roberts) told me he did that his rookie year, and he said Tom just exposed him. So I was like, ‘Ooh, I’m never doing that. I don’t want to say
Patriots Roster Battles: Who Plays Slot Cornerback For New England In 2017?
by Zack Cox on Thu, May 11, 2017 at 8:00AM 2,218 Share this: Sign Stephon Gilmore: Check. Bring back Malcolm Butler: Done, at least for the time being. Now, it’s up to the New England Patriots to figure out where both of their star cornerbacks will play this season. Gilmore and Butler both are boundary corners, playing the lion’s share of their snaps on the outside in 2016. So is Eric Rowe, who should maintain his standing as New England’s No. 3 cornerback following Gilmore’s arrival. The Patriots’ primary slot cornerback was Logan Ryan, but now resides in Nashville after signing a three-year, $30 million contract with the Tennessee Titans in free agency. Ryan played 309 snaps in slot coverage last season, while Butler, Gilmore (then with the
A Darrelle Revis Return To Patriots? Robert Kraft ‘Would Love It’
Share this: Robert Kraft was not short of comments at Monday’s NFL League Meeting. The New England Patriots owner touched on a variety of topics, including Tom Brady’s longevity and high hopes for Brandin Cooks’ impact on the offense. While most of Kraft’s comments were regarding players presently on his team, he did talk about one former Patriot who is currently seeking employment. Darrell Revis, who won a Super Bowl with New England in the 2014 season, was released by the New York Jets at the start of the new league year. At 31 years of age and declining skills, the veteran cornerback isn’t being aggressively sought after this offseason. But despite the logistics, Kraft isn’t ruling out a possible Revis-Patriots reunion. “I would love

Share this: The New England Patriots lost a defensive starter in free agency late Thursday night. Logan Ryan and the Tennessee Titans agreed to terms on a contract, according to the cornerback’s agents, Neil Schwartz and Jonathan Feinsod. The deal is worth $30 million over three years, a source told NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport. He recorded 92 tackles with one sack and two interceptions in 2016, as he split his time between the slot and outside cornerback. Ryan never missed a game with the Patriots and intercepted 13 passes in 64 regular-season games. He was a part of

Share this: ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — There is no doubt who the No. 1 cornerback on the New England Patriots is this season.
