It wasn’t smooth 60 minutes for the Boston Bruins on Monday. Trailing 2-0 in the second period, the B’s scored three unanswered goals in less than three minutes to take the lead, ultimately winning 4-3. The Bruins thoroughly were being outplayed until well into the second period, but took control of the game after that. They maintained control until Arizona made a late push, but Boston did just enough in the end to grab the victory. Bruins’ Patrice Bergeron Unlikely To Play Vs. Coyotes With Lower Body Injury
The Boston Bruins need Patrice Bergeron back on the ice, but he probably won’t be lacing up his skates Saturday. The Bruins veteran center hasn’t suited up yet this season, as he has been trying to work his way through a nagging lower body injury. Bergeron is making progress, but head coach Bruce Cassidy said it’s unlikely the 32-year-old will make his season debut Saturday when the B’s take on the Arizona Coyotes. Colin Miller Ejected, Alexander Burmistrov Stretchered Off After Hard Hit
Share this: The Boston Bruins’ matchup with the Arizona Coyotes on Tuesday night came to a halt at the 16:11 mark in the second period after a scary-looking situation on the TD Garden ice. B’s defenseman Colin Miller leveled Coyotes forward Alexander Burmistrov with a hard hit near the blue line. Burmistrov remained down on the ice for quite some time before he was taken off on a stretcher. Here are a couple looks at the controversial play: Miller was given a game misconduct and was ejected for the hit. Burmistrov gave two thumbs up as he was stretchered off.
