Bruins’ David Pastrnak ‘Day-To-Day’ After Undergoing Elbow Procedure

Bruins forward David Pastrnak underwent “a successful removal of the olecranon bursa from his right elbow” Friday at Newton Wellesley Hospital, general manager Don Sweeney said in a statement Saturday. Pastrnak is expected to miss Boston’s games on Sunday and Tuesday and is considered day-to-day. The 20-year-old is enjoying a remarkable season for the Bruins, entering Saturday as the NHL’s second-leading goal scorer behind Sidney Crosby (21) with 19 goals in 27 games.
