Gordon Hayward is getting some of the best medical attention around, and he doesn’t even have to leave his house for it. After the Boston Celtics forward suffered a gruesome leg/ankle injury in the season opener, he has made tremendous progress in his rehab, and it seems as though it’s because he is getting round-the-clock care. On Friday night, Hayward’s wife Robyn, posted a photo on Instagram of their two daughters in scrubs with stethoscopes making sure their dad is doing alright.Good to see him getting such quality medical attention. ... Olympic gymnast Aly Raisman: I was abused by doctor
NEW YORK— Olympic gymnast Aly Raisman says she is among the young women sexually abused by a former USA Gymnastics team doctor. Raisman tells “60 Minutes” she was 15 when she was first treated by Dr. Larry Nassar, who spent more than two decades working with athletes at USA Gymnastics. He’s now is in jail in Michigan awaiting sentencing after pleading guilty to possession of child pornography. Raisman, the captain of the 2012 and 2016 Olympic gold-medal winning teams, details the abuse in her book “Fierce,” which will be released on Tuesday. LANSING, Mich. (AP) — A Michigan sports doctor who treated elite female U.S. gymnasts was charged Wednesday with sexually assaulting nine girls, including some too reluctant to speak up about the alleged abuse years ago because he was considered a “god.” Roughly two dozen charges were filed against Dr. Larry Nassar, the first criminal cases related to his work at Michigan State University where he was the preferred doctor for gymnasts in the region who had back or hip injuries.
