Share this: There are so many great sports movies out there that it’s almost impossible to pick one favorite. But that was the task Boston Bruins fans had when NESN’s Guerin Austin recently asked them the Bud Light Ultimate Question at Wamesit Lanes in Tewksbury, Mass. The fans gave a diverse range of answers, although some of the headliners were “Rudy” and “Caddyshack.” Check out how fans responded in the “Ultimate Bruins Show” video above. Deadspin Writer Implores Chicago Not To Become Like Boston After Cubs’ Win
Share this: Boston sports fans, we need to talk. Many people outside of New England aren’t exactly big fans of your teams, and it’s probably best to accept it and relish the fact that they want to see you lose on the big stage, although you usually get the last laugh since you have nine titles since 2001. Now that we’ve settled that, it should be easier to understand why a certain column was posted on Deadspin on Friday. The Chicago Cubs ended their 108-year championship drought by winning the World Series thanks to a thrilling victory over the Cleveland Indians on Wednesday, and Boston fans know exactly how they feel since the Red Sox busted their own 86-year dry spell by winning the 2004 World Series. So, what
Watch Hockey Fan Climb Over Glass, Jump Onto Ice During OHL Game
Share this: The glass is there for a reason, buddy. Yes, it is meant to protect fans from flying pucks, but one would hope it also would deter fans who’ve had a few too many to wander onto the ice during a game. Well, that wasn’t the case Wednesday night in an Ontario Hockey League game between the Mississauga Steelheads and Guelph Storm, as one man managed to climb over the glass and fall onto the ice, where he stumbled around for a while. As you can imagine, it was pretty entertaining to watch, and you can catch a glimpse of his on-ice adventure in the video below. Thumbnail screen shot via Twitter/@mkmolnar More Stories Source link

Pedro Martinez Drops Video Of Postseason Dominance That Will Fire Up Red Sox Fans
Have you given up on the Boston Red Sox? Pedro Martinez hasn’t. The Hall of Fame pitcher and former Red Sox starter was part of some pretty amazing postseason moments for the club that most fans probably will never forget. But with the Red Sox down 0-2 to the Cleveland Indians in their American League Division Series, Martinez made sure the Fenway Faithful had a reminder of what Boston can do. Unfortunately for the Red Sox, vintage Martinez isn’t going to be on the mound at Fenway Park on Sunday for Game 3, but this is still a competitive Boston team. Clay Buchholz will start Sunday against Indians right-hander Josh Tomlin. Thumbnail

FOXBORO, Mass. — Tom Brady’s impending return couldn’t come at a better time. But Brady is allowed to return to the facility in under seven hours as his four-game suspension is up at midnight Monday morning, and he already was spotted working out in Brookline to get in some last-minute reps before he can go back to Gillette Stadium for good.
Red Sox Notes: Home-Field Advantage Slipping Away After Boston’s Swept In New Yo…
Share this: The Boston Red Sox’s series in New York was a lot to take in. Tuesday saw the Yankees snap the Red Sox’s 11-game win streak before the New York won again in walk-off fashion Wednesday. However, the Red Sox also clinched the American League East on Wednesday and lost again 5-1 on Thursday while the Yankees officially were eliminated from playoff contention. It was weird, yes, but amid the chaos, the Red Sox were swept and now are losing ground in the race to the top of the AL. With the Red Sox at 92-67 and the Texas Rangers at 94-65 after Thursday with three games left for both teams to play, Boston can all but kiss that No. 1 seed goodbye. But there
