The Boston Red Sox had some fun on their flight to Toronto. Red Sox manager John Farrell told his players before Wednesday night’s game against the San Diego Padres at Petco Park that they’d be allowed to wear their favorite jerseys — rather than formal wear — for their trip across the border. The Sox won their series finale in San Diego 7-2, and some of the threads worn for the “Favorite Jersey” flight certainly didn’t disappoint. If anything, it was a very random assortment.
