Bruins Wrap: Anton Khudobin Makes 36 Saves As Boston Beats Sabres 3-0

It has been quite a while since Anton Khudobin has recorded a shutout in an NHL game, but he snapped the years-long drought on Tuesday night as he turned away 36 shots for the Boston Bruins in their 3-0 win over the Buffalo Sabres at KeyBank Center. Eddie Lack Stretchered Off Ice After Collision On Red Wings’ OT Goal Vs. Hurricanes

It’s been a tough season for NHL goaltenders from an injury perspective, and the latest netminder to get hurt was Eddie Lack of the Carolina Hurricanes on Monday night. Lack collided with Detroit Red Wings forward Andreas Athanasiou as he scored the game-winning goal in overtime at PNC Arena. There was a lot of contact between the players, and Lack immediately fell to the ice in pain. Lack had to be stretchered off the ice, but the ‘Canes provided an encouraging update after the game.
