After an eventful off-season, Formula One finally is back. Preseason testing begins Monday, but the sport has been abuzz for almost a week now, as teams unveiled their new cars. The new technical regulations that are being introduced for the 2017 season will supposedly result in cars that are between four and five seconds quicker per lap. Red Sox manager John Farrell told his players before Wednesday night’s game against the San Diego Padres at Petco Park that they’d be allowed to wear their favorite jerseys — rather than formal wear — for their trip across the border.
