As the polls closed from the East Coast to the West Coast on Tuesday, people waited with baited breath on the state-by-state results for Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton and Republican nominee Donald Trump. Trump quickly pulled ahead, but the race wasn’t decided until late in the evening, after he won swing states such as Ohio, North Carolina and Pennslyvania. Trump wins the presidency by a 276-to-218 margin in electoral votes.
