F1 Driver Fernando Alonso Not Ruling Out Full-Time IndyCar Campaign

Share this: As Fernando Alonso prepares to make the next move in his career once his contract with McLaren-Honda expires, he apparently isn’t taking any option off the table. Alonso repeatedly has said his goal is to find a drive with a Formula One team that will be capable of fighting for the championship. However, he apparently isn’t ruling out a full-time drive in IndyCar, according to ESPN. Bautista : "Fighting in the top five would be a good result"

The first time I rode the Ducati GP16 it felt easy to handle, in inverted commas, compared to other MotoGP bikes I have ridden. I really like the character of the engine, it is very smooth. I also really like the electronics. I think it is a bike with a lot of potential. It is hard to compare with other bikes because my references have changed over the years as I have gathered experience. On the Suzuki I learnt a lot about MotoGP but it had a different character. Hayden in for Pedrosa at Phillip Island

Nicky Hayden: “First of all my best wishes to Dani, I’m sure he will come back stronger than ever like he always does. For me it’s crazy hard work but it’s a chance, ten year after winning my World Title, to get back to my old “dream team”! Doing a week-end in Phillip Island on a factory Honda, it’s pretty emotional for me to even think about it, and I’m very grateful for this opportunity and the trust that Honda gives me. I want also to thank my current team for allowing me to go and do this, and the sponsors. Everybody worked a lot on every detail to make it possible for me so now I’m excited to get
