VanZant will take on Michelle Waterson in a five-round, women’s strawweight bout Saturday night that will headline UFC Fight Night Sacramento. The 22-year-old enters the fight with a 7-2 record in UFC, with perhaps her most impressive victory coming the last time she entered the octagon. In an Aug. 27 strawweight bout against Bec Rawlings, VanZant needed all of 17 seconds before knocking out her opponent with one of the most impressive kicks you’ll see. Texas: Marquez' American beauty

After the drama in Argentina, the men completing the podium also raced for a little redemption. Jorge Lorenzo (Movistar Yamaha MotoGP), who had crashed out alone at Termas de Rio Hondo, got back on track in style to take second – despite a crash in Warm Up. Andrea Iannone (Ducati Team), whose last lap move on his teammate Andrea Dovizioso in Argentina had seen them both slide out and sent some waves through the Ducati Team garage, converted his impressive pace into a points finish for the first time in 2016 – and a first podium of the year. Mookie Betts Explains What Happened On Wild Catch-Turned-Double Play

Share this: Mookie Betts made one of the weirder plays of the season Tuesday night in the Bronx. It was also one of the most impressive. The Boston Red Sox’s right fielder lost a liner off the bat of Chase Headley in the Yankee Stadium lights and went into his slide a bit prematurely. He somehow managed to reach across and over his body and make the catch anyway before jumping up and quickly doubling off Starlin Castro at first base. It wasn’t enough to win the game, though, as the Red Sox had their 11-game winning streak snapped in a 6-4 loss to the New York Yankees. Still, it was pretty impressive nonetheless. Check out Betts’ explanation for the play in the video
