Oregon’s Marcus Mariota and Florida State’s Jameis Winston headlined day four of the 2015 NFL Scouting Combine, as the two are expected to be among the first players off the board in the NFL draft. Jameis Winston and the Internet: A match made in heaven. The Florida State quarterback always has provided fodder for the creative folks of the World Wide Web (we all remember those fantastic crab leg photoshops). During the Rose Bowl, though, Winston might have given his best gift yet. In the third quarter of Thursday’s college football semifinal against Oregon, Winston coughed a fumble in embarrassing fashion when he slipped and fell backwards, allowing the Ducks to recover the ball and race the other way for a touchdown.
