by Zack Cox on Fri, Nov 30, 2018 at 4:17PM FOXBORO, Mass. — Julian Edelman went airborne multiple times during last Sunday’s win over the New York Jets, crashing hard to the MetLife Stadium turf on two separate occasions. The New England Patriots wide receiver, who’s made a living absorbing bone-crushing hits from much larger defenders, was asked Friday whether he ever thinks about preserving his body when he’s on the field. Is it the best idea to allow yourself to be cartwheeled ... NESN.com

Julian Edelman Injury: WR’s Ankle Ailment Reportedly ‘Not Considered Serious’
The New England Patriots suffered a scare late in Sunday’s game, but it appears some of the concern can be quelled. Wide receiver Julian Edelman went to the locker room with an ankle injury in the fourth quarter of the Pats’ 34-10 Week 10 loss at the hands of the Tennessee Titans. Seeing as Edelman missed all of last season with an ACL tear suffered during the preseason, an injury in that part of the body understandably aroused some concern. But according to ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter, Edelman’s injury “is not considered serious.” While the timing of an injury almost never is ideal, Edelman is fortunate in that the Patriots are
Patriots Notes: Julian Edelman, James White Carry Sluggish Offense In Win Over Bills
by Zack Cox on Tue, Oct 30, 2018 at 2:36AM ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — Some notes and nuggets from the New England Patriots’ 25-6 victory over the Buffalo Bills on Monday night at New Era Field: — Though the final score line seemed to indicate a relatively comfortable Patriots win, this one was a slog for Tom Brady and the New England offense, which struggled on third down (5-for-14) and in the red zone (1-for-3) and didn’t find the end zone until the fourth quarter. After punting... NESN.com
Patriots Release Kenjon Barner To Make Room For Julian Edelman On 53-Man Roster
FOXBORO, Mass — The Patriots officially welcomed Julian Edelman back into the fold Thursday evening, but they had to make a roster move in order to do so. New England cut running back Kenjon Barner to make room on the 53-man roster for Edelman. Cutting Barner means the Patriots will roll with just Sony Michel and James White as its running backs in Thursday night’s game against the Indianapolis Colts. Barner was in his second stint this season with the Patriots, making his Pats debut in Week 4 against the Miami Dolphins, getting three carries for 11 yards. Edelman on Thursday will play in his first non-preseason game since Super Bowl LI... NESN.com
IndyCar’s Simon Pagenaud Parties With Julian Edelman, Apologizes To Colts
When he’s not running in-cuts for the New England Patriots, Julian Edelman is busy being the NFL’s preeminent social butterfly. The star wide receiver’s newest buddy? None other than defending Verizon IndyCar Series champion Simon Pagenaud. The French driver, who’s great behind the wheel but damn near mentally scarring with a hula-hoop, is in Los Angeles for Wednesday’s ESPY awards. On Tuesday, though, he stopped the ESPN Body Issue party, where he caught up with a chest hair-baring Edelman. We’re sure Pagenaud’s apologies were accepted without protest by the Indianapolis Colts, who now understand what it’s like to be at the cent... NESN.com

Julian Edelman: Helping Young Patriots Receivers Is ‘Part Of My Job’
Share this: FOXBORO, Mass. — Julian Edelman’s first practice of the summer came Sunday, but he still was able to be of service to the New England Patriots in the first week and a half of training camp. Edelman praised the Patriots’ young receivers Sunday, and he feels its his duty to help them acclimate to an offense in which he has seven years of experience. “I tell them whatever they want to hear,” Edelman said. “I tell them what I would do in that situation. They’ve asked a lot of questions, and that’s part of my job, to help make this corps as best as possible. I’ll go down and we’ll talk about, ‘Hey, I would have done this; I would have stacked a little
