Red Sox Pitcher Brian Johnson Hit In Head By Line Drive In Minor League Game
Share this: Red Sox pitcher Brian Johnson seems to be okay after he was hit in the head by a line drive during a minor league game with the Pawtucket Red Sox on Saturday. Johnson’s examination shows that he has avoided any serious injury to his head from Saturday, but this is not the only time this has happened to him. In his second professional start with the Lowell Spinners, Johnson was hit in the face by a line drive and suffered multiple orbital fractures to his face. Johnson is an important part of the Boston Red Sox team and has shown tremendous courage in getting back to the mound as quick as he did. For more on Johnson’s injury check out the video

Patriots-Seahawks Takeaways: Cornerbacks Flounder In Week 10 Loss
Share this: It’s time to start worrying about the New England Patriots’ defense. The Patriots led the NFL in points allowed per game entering their Week 10 matchup with the Seattle Seahawks and dropped all the way down to sixth after the 31-24 loss. The Patriots’ defense wasn’t passing the “eye test” even while preventing points, and their level of competition wasn’t exactly high-powered, but they were still winning. The Seahawks are the type of team the Patriots will face in the playoffs, and they struggled and lost. Some of the Patriots’ biggest issues came in pass coverage. Moto2™ goes down to the wire: Rins vs Zarco (vs Lowes)
Zarco has five wins, Rins two, but their podium count is the same. The Ajo Motorsport rider went on an incredible winning spree throughout four of the fives races from the Catalan GP onwards, and after his win in the Austrian GP, was 34 points clear at the top of the Championship – but then the dominoes began to fall. Brno saw the Frenchman on pole in the dry, and then struggling on race day in difficult conditions – giving Rins and Lowes an opportunity that neither missed. With Zarco crossing the line in P11, Rins and Lowes laid enough on the line to take necessary risks – but not too many, locking out the podium in P2 and P3
Martellus Bennett Shines As Blocker For Patriots In Rob Gronkowski’s Place
by Zack Cox on Mon, Sep 12, 2016 at 11:25AM 2,541 Share this: Don’t let his three catches for 14 yards fool you. Martellus Bennett played a key role in the New England Patriots’ season-opening win over the Arizona Cardinals. Serving as the No. 1 tight end in place of the injured Rob Gronkowski, Bennett hardly left the field Sunday night, playing 97.2 percent of New England’s offensive snaps (69 of 71) in his regular-season Patriots debut. While he was targeted just four times in the 23-21 victory and didn’t catch his first pass until the third quarter, the 6-foot-6, 273-pound tight end did yeoman’s work as a blocker for running backs LeGarrette Blount — who gained the bulk of his 70 rushing yards while
