Why Bengals’ A.J. Green Probably Won’t Torch Patriots In Week 6 Matchup

Share this: A.J. Green has made a lot of NFL defenders look pretty silly in his NFL career, and it’ll be up to the New England Patriots to make sure their names aren’t added to that list Sunday. The Pats take on the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 6, and as NESN.com’s Doug Kyed pointed out on “NESN Sports Today,” containing Green is one of the most important things New England’s defense will have to do this week. Check out more from Kyed in the video from NST, presented by People’s United Bank, in the video above. More Stories Source link

Auston Matthews’ Parents Overcome With Emotion Watching Son Score Four Goals

Share this: Auston Matthews’ parents have a lot to be proud of. Ema and Brian Matthews saw their 19-year-old son selected No. 1 overall in the 2016 NHL Draft, and just a few months later they witnessed him make history in his debut with the Toronto Maple Leafs. Auston scored four goals, the most ever by a player in their NHL debut, Wednesday in the Maple Leafs’ 5-4 overtime road loss to the Ottawa Senators. And each time he scored, the cameras panned to his parents, whose reactions were priceless. It doesn’t get any better than that. European Ryder Cup Team Challenges Heckler To Make Putt; He Answers In Big Way

Share this: Is it too late to add Dave Johnson to Team USA’s Ryder Cup squad? There’s no chance you know who Dave Johnson is — well, you might know a Dave Johnson, but not this guy — but he should be the next American hero. Johnson stole the show at the Ryder Cup on Thursday, one day before the actual international golf tournament got under way. The (presumably) American golf fan was taking in a practice round at Hazeltine National Golf Club where the Europeans were putting on one of the greens. Apparently Johnson was heckling the Euros (specifically Rory McIlroy, according to tweets), and the Europeans didn’t take too kindly to his jeers. So, they challenged Johnson to make the putt. Johnson made

Share this: Rick Porcello can bolster his Cy Young Award candidacy even more Saturday. The Boston Red Sox right-hander will go for his 22nd win of the season Saturday when he faces the Tampa Bay Rays at Tropicana Field. Furthermore, a win would make it 10 in a row for Boston after it won again Friday. Hear a preview of Porcello’s start in the video from NESN’s “Red Sox Final” above. Ex-Patriots Exec: Jimmy Garoppolo Throws Vertical Better Than Tom Brady

Ex-Patriots Exec: Jimmy Garoppolo Throws Vertical Better Than Tom Brady

New England Patriots fans can be a sensitive bunch when it comes to Tom Brady. It’s certainly admirable to see New Englanders support their favorite quarterback, but in turn, every critique of Brady is blown out of proportion. It’s almost impossible to make a less-than complimentary observation about TB12. Former Patriots assistant to the coach staff — and Oakland Raiders and Cleveland Browns general manager — Michael Lombardi did just that while discussing Jimmy Garoppolo, New England’s starter until Brady returns from a four-game suspension, on the Ringer’s “Bill Simmons Podcast”. “I’ve been fortunate enough, I’ve watched pract... Germany and Scotland impress, England leave it late

Group CNorway 0-3 GermanyThere were no mishaps from Germany as they began their FIFA World Cup defence with a convincing victory in Oslo to make it 24 World Cup qualifiers without defeat. Thomas Müller may have been unable to find the net at UEFA EURO 2016, but he put that tournament behind him with a pair of goals, either side of setting up a first senior Germany strike for Joshua Kimmich.
