Miami Police Union To Boycott If Dolphins Kneel For Patriots’ National Anthem

There’s been a growing list of NFL players protesting the national anthem this season, and not everyone is happy about it. Several Miami Dolphins players recently continued a trend started by San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick, as four Dolphins, led by running back Arian Foster, took a knee during the playing of “The Star-Spangled Banner” to protest racial inequality in America. The Dolphins plan to protest again before their Week 2 matchup against the Patriots in New England, but if they do, things could get contentious. Per the Miami Herald, local Miami police plans to stop providing escorts for players before home games until the ... NESN.com

Braves, Marlins Clear Benches After Jose Ramirez Buzzes Jose Fernandez

Share this: A couple of pitchers named “Jose” were at the center of a heated situation Wednesday night at Turner Field. The Braves and Marlins cleared the benches when Atlanta reliever Jose Ramirez threw a pitch over the head of Miami ace Jose Fernandez. Fernandez had been squaring around to bunt in the seventh inning when he received the chin music from Ramirez. No punches were thrown once everyone ran onto the field, but it was a rather tense game, all things considered. They’ve got a good tight end. The backs are really good. They have really good depth at running back. “(Arian) Foster is a very hard guy to tackle. He’s got tremendous balance, gets a

Miami Completes Miracle Comeback With Eight Laterals On Final Play (Video)

The ending to Saturday’s No. 11 Duke-Miami football game was one you need to see to believe. The Blue Devils appeared to have salvaged their undefeated ACC record with a touchdown with six seconds remaining in the game. All they had to do was prevent some crazy, last-ditch effort by the Hurricanes on the ensuing kickoff. Easier said than done. WOW! Miami completed eight laterals on the play, which was ruled a touchdown after a review determined there was no block in the back. That gave Miami the 30-27 win. College football, where even the impossible is possible. Thumbnail photo via Twitter/@ESPNCFB
