Chicago police are asking for assist finding a 15-year-old woman who has been reported lacking from Park Manor on the South Side. Jakarri Miles was final seen Thursday within the 7100 block of South Calumet Avenue, in line with a lacking individuals alert from Chicago police. Miles is 5 ft, 120 kilos, with brown eyes, lengthy black braids in a field design, has a nostril piercing and a medium-brown complexion, police stated. She was final seen sporting a purple coat with fur on the hood, a yellow shirt, blue denims and tan Ugg boots, police stated. The wait is finally over for the latest version of BMW’s hybrid sports car. BMW unveiled the i8 Roadster on Wednesday, ahead of its official debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show. The German automaker tweeted a video debuting the new model, roughly three months after confirming the Roadster’s existence. In addition to the open-top i8, BMW also revealed details of the updated i8 Coupe, which will have an increased electric range of 34 miles. Convertibles require more chassis strengthening than coupes, so the Roadster understandably is heavier — though we don’t know by how much. South African Journalist Breaks Record With 102-Mile Continuous Drift

Journalist Jesse Adams didn’t have that luxury, however, during his recent stunt at Gerotek Test Facilities in South Africa. Adams broke the record this week for the longest continuous drift by keeping a Toyota GT86 — sold in the United States as the 86 — sideways for 102 1/2 miles, according to 4WheelsNews. His run broke the previous record of 90 miles that was set by Harald Muller, who also used a GT86 for his attempt. For anybody who isn’t familiar with drifting, it’s when you make the back end come lose on a rear-wheel-drive car, and hold it on the edge of a spin.

That’s because lyft, the United States’ second most popular ride-hailing service, is allowing users to earn miles with Delta Airlines on every ride they take, the company announced Wednesday. All users have to do is link their accounts to Delta’s SkyMiles program, and they’ll earn a mile for every dollar they spend on Lyft. There’s even an added bonus for rides to and from airports, as riders can earn three miles per dollar.
