Share this: As it does every year, Major League Baseball’s 2017 Futures Game featured a host of talented position players — No. 1 overall prospect Yoan Moncada, No. 3 prospect Amed Rosario and the much-hyped Vladimir Guerrero Jr., to name a few. And Brent Honeywell mowed them all down. Honeywell, the No. 2-ranked player in the Tampa Bay Rays’ system and the 22nd ranked prospect in baseball, started on the mound Sunday for Team USA against Team World and downright dazzled the Marlins Park crowd. 2018 NHL Winter Classic Pits Rangers Vs. Sabres At Citi Field On Jan. 1
Share this: The NHL will feature an Empire State rivalry in the 2018 Winter Classic. The New York Rangers will play the Buffalo Sabres on New Year’s Day at Citi Field — the home of Major League Baseball’s New York Mets. The league made the announcement Tuesday night. It’s the 10th anniversary of the Winter Classic. The first one was held at Ralph Wilson Stadium in Buffalo in 2008, where the Sabres lost in a shootout to the Pittsburgh Penguins. The 2018 game will be the sixth hosted by an MLB stadium. The Rangers also have made one Winter Classic appearance. They beat the Philadelphia Flyers 3-2 at Citizens Bank Park in 2012. Here Are The Custom Uniforms Red Sox Will Wear For 2017 Holiday Games
Share this: Major League Baseball is getting festive in 2017, and the Boston Red Sox are joining the party. MLB on Tuesday unveiled its “Special Event” series of uniforms for the current season, which includes unique sets of threads that all 30 teams will wear on four separate occasions: Mother’s Day, Memorial Day, Father’s Day and Independence Day. So, what do they look like? Chris Creamer of Sportslogos.net offered a sneak peek of the Red Sox’s threads for the four days, including what they’ll wear on All-Star weekend.
