Alex Morgan Apologizes For Ejection From Disney World, Reported Drunken Behavior

Alex Morgan isn’t too big to admit she was wrong. The U.S. women’s national soccer team superstar used Twitter on Tuesday morning to apologize for her recent behavior at Disney World in Orlando, Fla. Police ejected Morgan and a group of her friends from Epcot Center on  Sunday following a verbal altercation with other visitors. Police declined to charge Morgan, 28, and her friends with trespassing, according to The Orlando Sentinel’s Alicia DelGallo. Strickland Hires Morgan as Assistant

Appalachian State University women's soccer head coach Sarah Strickland announced the hiring of assistant coach Lindsey Morgan on Wednesday. Morgan spent the 2010 season at Stephen F. Austin, where she helped guide the squad to a 13-5-2 record and a second place in the Southland Conference.Prior to serving at S.F. Austin, Morgan spent the 2009 season coaching her alma mater, Columbus State University, where she earned four letters. As an assistant, Morgan coached the Cougars to a 16-3-3 overall mark and 8-1-1 conference record.In addition to her collegiate coaching duties, Morgan served as the head coach and operations director for Columbus Football Club, Redstar. Additionally, Morgan served as a senior staff coach for the Columbus State Soccer Camps from 2007-09.
