Dalla Porta, Odendaal and Morales earn poles in Albacete
Carmelo Morales will set off chasing his sixth win in Albacete, which would make him the rider with the most victories in Superbike in Albacete since 2002; other riders on five victories are Iván Silva, Xavier Forés and José David De Gea. Last year the current Superbike European Championship champion won one of the two races while in the other the winner was Iván Silva. Ramírez, Odendaal and Scheib to defend their leads in Aragon
Marcos Ramírez currently leads the Moto3™ Junior World Championship, as he has done since winning the first race of the season in Valencia, although Lorenzo Dalla Porta (ITA-Husqvarna) is now only six points adrift. The Italian, on pole in both Valencia and Le Mans, took his first win of the season in France while the Leopard Junior Stratos team rider failed to make the podium for the first time this year. Kaito Toba (JPN-Honda) holds third place, just one point behind Lorenzo Dalla Porta, so the outcome of Sunday's Moto3™ race in Alcañiz could bring big changes in the overall standings.
