MLB Rumors: Yankees Have Offered Top 10 Prospects In Manny Machado Trade Talks

The New York Yankees appear to be serious about making a legitimate offer for Baltimore Orioles shortstop Manny Machado — the hottest name in the MLB rumor mill. George A. King III of the New York Post reported Sunday that the Yankees have included some of their top prospects in trade talks involving Machado. “One day after a person with knowledge of the Manny Machado situation told The Post the Yankees aren’t interested in dealing any of their high-end prospects, another voice chimed in Sunday, saying the Yankees have offered players from their top-10 prospect list,” King wrote Sunday. Ronaldo on THAT goal: ‘It was a great night’

After Cristiano Ronaldo had smashed the ball from high out of the rainy sky into the left-hand corner of Gianluigi Buffon's net for his second goal against Juventus on Tuesday, there was a stunned silence in Turin while the Real Madrid star wheeled away to celebrate, followed by spontaneous applause as home fans offered due respect. What a finish!"Well, for me it was an unbelievable moment," Ronaldo told UEFA.com after Madrid's 3-0 UEFA Champions League quarter-final first-leg win. Wyc Grousbeck: Celtics Comfortable With Trade Deadline, But Still Two Players Aw…

Share this: The rumor mill was working at full power on NBA trade deadline day, and the asset-rich Boston Celtics were at the center of all the action — until there weren’t. And Boston is feeling good about where it is, although it admittedly still has work to do to become a championship contender. “We’re very comfortable with what happened,” Celtics co-owner Wyc Grousbeck said Friday on 98.5 The Sports Hub’s “Felger & Mazz,” as transcribed by CSNNE.com. “We offered

Pablo Sandoval Looks Noticeably Slimmer In Workout Videos From Fort Myers

Pablo Sandoval has talked the talk, and now it appears he’s walking the walk. Yet Sandoval looks like a new man this offseason, and he offered another positive update Friday, posting a series of Instagram Live videos of him lifting weights and running on a treadmill at team facilities in Fort Myers. The videos aren’t embeddable, but here’s a sample, courtesy of Bleacher Report’s St... NESN.com

Report: Celtics Offered Rajon Rondo, Jeff Green for Russell Westbrook, Kendrick Perkins After Last Season

by Mike Cole on Tue, Nov 29, 2011 at 11:59PM   How's this for weird? ESPN's Chris Broussard tweeted an interesting failed trade proposal that Celtics president Danny Ainge reportedly offered the Oklahoma City Thunder after last season. According to Broussard, the C's offered the Thunder point guard Rajon Rondo and forward Jeff Green in exchange for point guard Russell Westbrook and center Kendrick Perkins. Trading Rondo, one of the franchise's cornerstones would raise eyebrows as it is. However, the fact that this trade would bring Perkins, who was traded at the deadline in a deal that brought Green to Boston, is the real eye-opener in this scenario. Alas, Oklahoma City was not interested in Ainge's proposal. Rondo has been the subject of plenty of
