Share this: Sunday might have been the most love Kelly Oubre Jr. has gotten at a Washington Wizards game. And he didn’t even play. The Wizards swingman was suspended for Game 4 of his team’s second-round NBA playoff series against the Boston Celtics after bull-rushing Kelly Olynyk in Game 3. The suspension didn’t really come as much of a surprise (just watch the play for yourself), but don’t tell that to team owner Ted Leonsis. Leonsis and his son both showed up to Verizon Center on Sunday rocking Oubre’s No. 12 jersey over their business attire, with the Wizards owner even tweeting out a photo of himself with the hashtag “#FreeOubre.” Lest Washington fans didn’t see Leonsis’ show of support for Oubre, everyone in

Rob Gronkowski Celebrates Easter Dressed As Bunny Spiking Giant Egg
Share this: Rob Gronkowski is in the Easter spirit. The New England Patriots tight end dressed up like an Easter bunny and spiked a huge egg (or at least we assumed he did) to celebrate the holiday Sunday. He posted a photo of it on Twitter. Gronk has been having a lot of fun this offseason. He made an appearance at Wrestlemania earlier this month, and he even tried freestyle rapping. Patriots fans are just hoping Gronkowski is healthy enough to return to the elite form we’ve all come to expect from him on the football field. Thumbnail photo via Greg M. Patriots’ Super Bowl Trophy Survives Scary Run-In With Deer In Maine
Share this: It’s been a treacherous few weeks for Super Bowl LI artifacts. First, we had the curious case of Tom Brady’s missing jersey, which finally was recovered after an extensive search. Now, it appears the New England Patriots’ Lombardi Trophy was in peril over the weekend. According to Maine State Police, a car carrying the Super Bowl trophy struck a deer in Fairfield, Maine, on Friday night. Fortunately, the Patriots employee driving the car and his wife emerged from the crash unscathed — as did their precious cargo. What a relief. Russell Wilson, Ciara Pose Mostly Naked In Family Photo With Baby Future
Share this: The internet was abuzz Tuesday after a family photo of Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson, singer Ciara and her son, Future, went viral. After all, this was no ordinary family photo. Wilson and Ciara, who is pregnant, posed mostly nude with Baby Future for Harper’s Bazaar in a photo the singer posted on her Twitter on Tuesday. In the photo, you can see Ciara carrying her son, while Wilson holds her pregnant stomach. However, you can’t see his face because it’s covered by Ciara. As you probably can imagine, the internet had some fun with the photo. Thumbnail photo via Dan MacMedan/USA TODAY NETWORK More Stories Source link
Tuukka Rask Stops Mike Green In Bruins’ 4-3 Overtime Win Vs. Red Wings
Share this: The Boston Bruins picked up a 4-3 overtime win against the Detroit Red Wings on Tuesday night at TD Garden. The win halted the B’s four-game losing streak, and the 23 saves made by Bruins goalie Tuukka Rask were a key part of the victory. Of Rask’s 23 saves, none were bigger than this third-period stop on Red Wings defenseman Mike Green. Hear NESN’s Jack Edwards and Andy Brickley break it down in the DCU Save of the Day above. Gary Sheffield’s Tampa Mansion Is Hitting The Market For $1.8M Steal
Share this: If you want to live like a member of the 500-home run club and have a couple million dollars to spare, well, you’re in luck. Former Major League Baseball outfielder and renowned slugger Gary Sheffield is putting his Tampa, Fla., mansion on the market for $1.8 million, according to Busted Coverage. That’s obviously no bargain, but it’s relatively cheap as far as former professional athletes’ homes go. (Just ask Scottie Pippen.) Sheffield’s home still packs plenty of pop, though. Located in the “exclusive gated community” of Harbour Island, the 5,492-square foot mansion boasts five bedrooms, 5.5 bathrooms and a nice secluded pool. It’s good to know the 48-year-old, who hit 509 home runs with eight different teams over his 22-year career, still
