Share this: Ellen DeGeneres of all people was in the internet cross-hairs earlier this week for a photo and tweet that had some accusing her of racism. The talk show host thought she was celebrating another dominant performance by Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt after he won yet another gold medal in the 100m at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. A day after Bolt’s gold medal performance, DeGeneres tweeted the following photoshopped picture, with her on the back of Bolt as he cruised to the finish line in a qualifying race, a photo that’s received plenty of attention in recent days. Some viewed the photoshopped meme as racist, claiming Ellen implied that she was “riding on the back of a black man.” @TheEllenShow You thought

Thunder Arena Takes Down Kevin Durant Photo As Era Ends In OKC
Kevin Durant is no longer a member of the Oklahoma City Thunder after agreeing to a two-year contract with the Golden State Warriors on Monday. You can expect over the next few days everything with Durant’s name and photo to be removed from Chesapeake Energy Arena in OKC. The removal outside the arena already is underway. And it didn’t take very long for the “Crying Jordan” meme to make an appearance. It’s a sad moment for Thunder fans. Durant was the franchise’s best player from its inception in 2008-09 after owner Clay Bennett moved the team from Seattle. In all honesty, the team never should have left Seattle, so T...
Tom Brady, Gisele Catch Son Ben’s Hockey Game Over Broncos-Steelers (Photo)
Peyton Manning, Ben Roethlisberger, blah, blah, blah. Who cares? New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady wasn’t very concerned Sunday with the outcome of the second AFC Divisional Playoff clash between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Denver Broncos. Instead, he took some time to get away from football and go enjoy his son Ben’s hockey game with wife Gisele Bundchen. The photographer who took the photo for TMZ Sports said it was taken at approximately 7:15 p.m. — aka right when the Broncos-Steelers game was wrapping up. It’s alright, Tom. You didn’t really miss much, anyway. Manning and the Broncos won a snoozer 23-16. Thumbna...
Don Cherry-Inspired Hockey Jerseys Will Make Your Eyes Bleed (Photo)
The Toledo Walleye of the ECHL plan to be as fashionable on the ice as Don Cherry is off it. The Walleye, an affiliate of the Detroit Red Wins, announced Wednesday on Instagram their plans to wear checkered jerseys Jan. 23. The bold wardrobe strategy is Toledo’s way of paying tribute to Cherry, who’s known as much for his crazy suits as he is for his hockey analysis or his NHL coaching career. Cherry, who currently works as an analyst for CBC, guided the Boston Bruins to the playoffs in each of his five seasons at the helm from 1974 to 1979. He’s since become one of the most interesting characters in

U.S. Open Greens At Chambers Bay In Rough Shape Before Round 1 (Photo)
The U.S. Open is the toughest major championship in golf. The USGA does its best to make the course incredibly difficult to shoot par. The fairways are narrow, the rough is thicker and more abundant, the greens are a nightmare and the hole locations are in absurd spots. This year’s U.S. Open starts Thursday at Chambers Bay in Washington. Judging by the early condition of the greens, it’s going to be a real challenge to putt with any consistency. Put simply, the greens are a mess. Martin Kaymer won last year’s U.S. Open at 9-under par, which is a rare score for this tournament. Normally the winner is much closer to even
Jets Fans Mock Tom Brady With ‘See You Later Deflator’ T-Shirts (Photo)
New England Patriots fans already are selling T-shirts in support of Tom Brady, so New York Jets fans naturally had to get in on the Brady-wear trend. While “Free Brady” shirts were being printed in New England after the NFL handed the Patriots quarterback a four-game suspension for his role in DeflateGate, Jets fans created something slightly different. It’s to be expected that rival teams, especially those in the AFC East, will have a field day with Brady’s suspension. But New York fans might want to hold back until midseason, as they actually will see Brady later — the Patriots meet the Jets in Weeks 7 and 16, after the signal-caller ret...
