Ex-Patriot Gives Inside Look At How Players Are Coached To Address Media
Share this: There’s a reason New England Patriots players don’t spend a lot of time complimenting their teammates, and it’s not for lack of admiration. Former Patriots defensive tackle Terrence Knighton found out the hard way not to heap too much praise on a fellow defensive lineman. “You get coached up every day on how to talk to the media,” Knighton said on “PFT Live.” “One time, I did an interview and I gave a guy credit. I thought I was doing the right thing by digging up my teammate and saying he was going to have a great year. We got in a team meeting and (head coach Bill Belichick) called me out, basically said to me, ‘You’re not an expert,

Cavs’ Locker Room Smelled Like Marijuana After Game 2 Loss, Reporters Say
Share this: The Cleveland Cavaliers probably were feeling pretty low after their 132-113 loss to the Golden State Warriors in Game 2 of the NBA Finals, but not everyone in their locker room was. Cavs locker room has a strong reefer aroma to it tonight. Hey, it's Cali. You're down 2-0 and it's all about pain control. #NBAFinals — Mike Wise (@MikeWiseguy) June 5, 2017 To be clear, I don't know

Share this: Mili Hernandez won’t let others’ poor judgement keep her off the soccer field. Hernandez, an eight-year-old Nebraska girl, and her teammates were disqualified from a soccer tournament Sunday because she “looks like a boy,” her father Gerardo Hernandez told Omaha, Neb., television station WOWT. Hours before Hernandez and the Azzuri Cachorros girls club team were due to compete in the Springfield, Neb., Soccer Club girls tournament, someone complained about a boy on their all-girls U-11 team. A registrar’s error which listed Hernandez as a boy convinced organizers her team had broken the rules, even though her father showed them her health insurance card as proof of her gender. Hernandez now has paid a heavy price for keeping her hair short. “When my hair starts to
NFL Top 100: J.J. Watt Blasts Annual List As ‘A Joke'(For Obvious Reason)
The high esteem J.J. Watt’s peers have for him is puzzling. The Houston Texans defensive end is ranked 35th on the NFL Network’s “Top 100” players list in 2017. But he ripped the annual list Monday, telling his Twitter followers they shouldn’t read too much into the pecking order. Watt spent most of the 2016 season on injured reserve due to a back injury. However, He was No. 3 on the 2016 Top 100 and No. 1 in 2015. The players whose votes determine “Top 100” rankings obviously didn’t forget the impact Watt can make on the field. Even if his previous standings seem to have slipped his mind.
