Max Kellerman’s perception of Tom Brady is well-documented. Kellerman — for several years now, mind you — has stood on his soapbox that is ESPN’s “First Take” and declared that Brady soon will fall off a cliff in terms of skill level. Not much went right for the Bruins on Wednesday night. The Capitals hoisted their Stanley Cup championship banner and went on to beat Boston 7-0 in the season opener for both teams. Rick Porcello Offers High Praise To Red Sox’s Bats After Win Over Twins
Rick Porcello picked up his 13th win of the season Saturday at Fenway Park, but he couldn’t have done so without a little help from his friends. Despite allowing four runs on five hits over 5 2/3 innings, the right-hander picked up a victory thanks in large part to the Boston Red Sox’s 14-hit barrage in their 10-4 win over the Minnesota Twins. David Harris’ Time With Patriots Has Been ‘Amazing’ Despite Reduced Role
FOXBORO, Mass. — Former New York Jets linebacker David Harris has played just seven defensive snaps with the New England Patriots this season, leading many to understandably wonder why he’s still on the team. Harris doesn’t have a role on special teams and has been a healthy scratch once and didn’t find his way onto the field in another game despite being active.
