Share this: The New England Patriots’ defense still seems offended by midseason criticism. They have a chance to silence all detractors this week. The Patriots’ defense finished topped the NFL in points allowed, but they also played the easiest schedule. Here’s the full list of quarterbacks the Patriots faced this season: Tyrod Taylor, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Ryan Tannehill, Russell Wilson, Joe Flacco, Trevor Siemian, Landry Jones, Carson Palmer, Andy Dalton, Colin Kaepernick, Matt Moore, Brock Osweiler, Charlie Whitehurst, Jared Goff, Cody Kessler, EJ Manuel and Terrelle Pryor. That is, uh, not strong. Russell Wilson is by far the best quarterback on that list, he had a down season, and that’s the only game the Patriots lost when they didn’t have a rookie quarterback with a thumb injury under

On List Of Reasons Patriots Beat Texans, Brock Osweiler Is Near The Top
Share this: FOXBORO, Mass. — Bill O’Brien indicated Saturday that fixing the Houston Texans’ offense isn’t “rocket science.” Maybe so, but fixing the offense might be “Brock-et science,” as in quarterback Brock Osweiler, and that could be much worse. The Texans lost to the New England Patriots on Saturday night in an AFC divisional-round game for a variety of reasons. Osweiler’s ineffectiveness might not have been the No. 1 reason, but it certainly ranked near the top. The $72-million man completed just 23 of 40 passes for 198 yards (less than 5 yards per attempt) with one touchdown pass and three costly interceptions. The usually sure-handed Patriots committed an uncharacteristically high amount of mistakes, turning the ball over three times — including two Tom
NFL Draft 2017: Miami QB Brad Kaaya To Forego Senior Season, Enter Draft
Share this: The Miami Hurricanes will need to find a new starting quarterback next season. Brad Kaaya announced on Monday that he would be forgoing his senior season and is opting to enter the 2017 NFL Draft. Kaaya certainly made his mark in Miami over the course of his three years as the Hurricanes starting quarterback, as he will leave the university holding the all-time school records in passing yards with 9,968 and completions with 720. At 6’4″ and 215 pounds, Kaaya has the ideal quarterback frame that NFL scouts typically look for, and there is a good chance he is one of first five quarterbacks taken in the draft. Kaaya has the opportunity to be the first Miami quarterback drafted in over a decade.
Watch Chiefs’ Dontari Poe Throw Breathtaking Jump-Pass TD Vs. Broncos
Share this: The Kansas City Chiefs earned a convincing win Sunday night, trouncing the Denver Broncos 33-10. While the Chiefs’ victory seemingly never was in doubt, the team added a little insurance late in the fourth quarter with a touchdown pass … from a nose tackle. Dontari Poe lined up as a wildcat quarterback and threw a flawless jump-pass touchdown to tight end Demetrius Harris. Take a look at the hilarious play. At 6-foot-3 and 346 pounds, it’s safe to assume Poe is one of the largest “quarterbacks” to throw a touchdown in NFL history. Tyrod Taylor Got In A Car Crash While Driving To Bills-Dolphins Game
The Buffalo Bills suffered a heartbreaking loss to the Miami Dolphins on Saturday, but their quarterback was lucky to even be on the field. Tyrod Taylor was involved in a minor car accident in downtown Buffalo on Saturday morning while driving to New Era Field, Taylor revealed after the game. “(Saturday) goes into the loss category and I’m not happy about that,” Taylor said after Buffalo’s 34-31 overtime loss, via NewYorkUpstate.com. “The fact that my car got wrecked this morning in an accident doesn’t help.” According to NewYorkUpstate.com, Taylor crashed his black Mercedes SUV at approximately 10 a.m. ET and had to be picked u... Packers QB Aaron Rodgers Dominates Again; Is He NFL MVP Frontrunner?
Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers hit rock bottom after a 42-24 loss to the Washington Redskins on “Sunday Night Football” in Week 12. Rodgers wasn’t playing his best football and Green Bay’s playoff chances with a 4-6 record looked slim. They basically had to win out to have a good chance at reaching the NFL playoffs, and thanks to Rodgers’ excellent play at quarterback, that’s exactly what the Packers have done. The Packers beat the rival Minnesota Vikings 38-25 on Saturday behind Rodgers’ 347 yards and four touchdowns against an elite defense. The victory sets up a winner-take-all Week 17 showdown for the NFC North division title... NESN.com
Tom Brady’s Display Of Toughness Sends Message To Patriots Teammates
Share this: EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. — Jets fans present for the New England Patriots’ 22-17 win over New York probably wish they were among the many who stayed home and left their grey seats empty at MetLife Stadium on Sunday. The Patriots’ win goes down as another notch in Tom Brady’s belt while the Jets remain futureless at quarterback. Sure, young signal-callers Bryce Petty and Christian Hackenberg are on the roster, but if they’re not even good enough to play quarterback over Ryan Fitzpatrick in another lost Jets season, then how are they supposed to give fans hope for tomorrow? Brady, ageless at 39 years old, had himself a day that will be remembered for his 200th win, 60,000th yard and the toughness to throw for
