BOSTON — Jayson Tatum continues to impress at 19 years old. The Boston Celtics have asked a lot of the No. 3 overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft, and he’s delivered early in his career. Tatum scored in double figures once again in the Celtics’ 108-97 win over the Philadelphia 76ers at TD Garden. The Duke product poured in nine of his 15 points in the fourth quarter, showing once again that the NBA stage isn’t too big for him. Red Sox Notes: Rick Porcello Didn’t Realize He Threw An Immaculate Inning
Rick Porcello tossed six strong innings in the Boston Red Sox’s 8-2 win over the Tampa Bay Rays on Wednesday, but the fifth frame undoubtedly was his best. The right-hander made extremely quick work of the Rays in the inning, as he struck out the side in order on just nine pitches to complete one of baseball’s most exciting feats, the immaculate inning. Porcello’s accomplishment wasn’t lost on anyone in Tropicana Field, except for himself.
