Kyle Larson Flies Over Top Of Ricky Stenhouse Jr. Late In Race At Daytona

Kyle Larson was one of a handful of drivers vying for the lead of Sunday’s Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race at Daytona International Speedway, but his day quickly came to an end after a small misstep. Larson was on the back straight with eight laps remaining in the Coke Zero 400 Powered by Coca-Cola and moved to the outside as he approached Turn 3. He hadn’t completely cleared Ricky Stenhouse Jr., though, so the two touched, ultimately sending Larson’s No. 42 over the hood of Stenhouse’s No. 17. The current points leader, Larson wasn’t injured in the crash, though it could have ended much worse had his car not returned to

NASCAR Fan Wakes Up After Race, Discovers Family Left Her At Track

Share this: If you’ve ever been to a NASCAR race, you know how easy it is to accidentally leave something at the track. Like a cooler. Or a pair of sunglasses. Or a relative. That’s the fate that reportedly befell Jody Nash, a fan who attended Sunday’s Coca-Cola 600 with family only to wake up Monday to discover they’d all left, according to WBTV. “When she woke up, her friends were gone,” WBTV reporter Steve Ohnesorge says in a voiceover. Nash seemed to take it all in stride, toting around a Bud Light and remaining optimistic that someone would come back for her. “Hey mom, I’m OK,” Nash told WBTV. “I’m still here in Turn 2. … Will y’all come get me?” Apparently, Nash was found while

North Carolina Vs. Kentucky Highlights: Re-Live Incredible Elite 8 Ending

Share this: The North Carolina Tar Heels punched their ticket to the Final Four of the 2017 NCAA Tournament with a thrilling Elite 8 win over Kentucky on Sunday night. Kentucky tied the game 73-73 with less than 10 seconds remaining in the second half when top 10 NBA prospect Malik Monk hit a sensational 3-point shot. But the Tar Heels came right down the floor and Luke Maye hit the go-ahead basket with 0.3 seconds left. Kentucky turned the ball over on the ensuing possession with an inbounds pass that traveled the length of the court but didn’t land in play. UNC then wasted the last few tenths of a second to secure the 75-73 win. North Carolina is the champion of the South Region,

Florida Stuns Wisconsin With Wild, Buzzer-Beating 3-Pointer In Overtime

Share this: It’s been a relatively dull NCAA Tournament so far, but Friday night’s East Region Sweet 16 matchup is why we call it March Madness. No. 4 seed Florida pulled off a stunning 84-83 overtime victory over eighth-seeded Wisconsin, miraculously sending the Gators to the Elite Eight. The Badgers’ chances of earning the win looked bleak as the Gators held a five-point lead with under a minute remaining in regulation. Wisconsin would chip away, though, cutting the deficit to three with just 6.5 seconds left. With possession and a chance to send the game into overtime, the Badgers called on Zach Showalter, who answered Wisconsin’s prayers with an off-balanced heave. The two squads would go back and forth in the overtime period, but the
