Maybe Floyd Mayweather Jr. is done with combat sports after all. Mayweather initially hung up his gloves after his 49th boxing victory, but he came out of retirement for a superfight with Conor McGregor, which Mayweather won via 10th-round TKO. The Mayweather-McGregor feud didn’t end after the late-summer clash, though, as the two superstars continued the war of words via social media. And as the trash talk intensified, rumors began to circulate that there would be a rematch, only this time it would be in the octagon. It’s unclear how legitimate this UFC megabout really is, but it appears Money Mayweather might be shying away from the idea. In an Instagram photo ... NESN.com

WWE SummerSlam 2016: Five Bold Predictions Including Surprise Celebrity Guest
Share this: It wouldn’t be WWE without a bit of drama. Fans of professional wrestling are, in essence, fans of entertainment. So when the biggest events of the year — like SummerSlam — roll around, people want to be entertained. That means cameos from non-wrestlers, old wrestlers and everything in between. It also means upsets and surprise endings and hopefully a bunch of stuff you didn’t see happening, as well as a few happy endings everyone was rooting for. That said, we can’t just look at Sunday night’s match card and expect a clean sweep for the favorites. Something, or someone, will shock us. It’s in that spirit that NESN.com’s Pat Bradley (@PatBradley_) and Ricky Doyle (@TheRickyDoyle) took a shot at a few of
Conor McGregor-Nate Diaz Rivalry Features These Insane Trash-Talking Moments
Share this: Conor McGregor and trash talk go hand in hand, but losses usually don’t. However, that all changed back in March when McGregor suffered a stunning loss to Nate Diaz at UFC 196. But if you thought that might change McGregor’s approach with a microphone before his rematch at UFC 202 on Saturday, think again. McGregor had plenty of insults for Diaz at the pre-fight press conference Wednesday, and even water bottles weren’t safe from an intense showdown just a few days before the big bout. Jose Aldo Probably Not Getting Rematch With Conor McGregor Any Time Soon
One way or another, it doesn’t look like Jose Aldo is getting another crack at Conor McGregor any time soon. The former UFC feathweight champion was defeated via knockout after just 13 seconds at UFC 194 Saturday night, a loss that made McGregor the undisputed unified UFC featherweight champion. Despite the outcome, Aldo was a worthy opponent. The 29-year-old was the only champion the division had ever had, and his last loss came over 10 years ago. So, he’d have to get a rematch with McGregor … right? There appear to be at least a few obstacles in his way. First and foremost is the question of whether McGregor is remaining in the divisio...
David Ortiz, Chris Archer Face Off In Latest Red Sox-Rays Rematch (Video)
All eyes will be on David Ortiz and Chris Archer during Friday night’s matchup between the Boston Red Sox and Tampa Bay Rays in Florida. So will they bring the gloves out during this latest series? Check out Don Orsillo and Jerry Remy’s take in the video above. Next Article >> Jerry Remy On Koji Uehara:...
