Joe McKnight’s Alleged Killer, Ronald Gasser, Arrested On Manslaughter Charge
Share this: It took nearly a week, but it appears justice is being served in the death of Joe McKnight. Ronald Gasser, the man accused of shooting and killing the former NFL running back at an intersection in broad daylight, was arrested Monday on one count of manslaughter, according to Jefferson Parish (La.) Correctional Center records. Gasser allegedly killed McKnight last Thursday in a road rage incident Terrytown, La., reportedly shooting him three times and at one point telling the 28-year-old, “I told you, don’t you f— with me,” according to an eyewitness. Yet Gasser initially wasn’t even charged in the incident despite turning himself over to police and was released later that night after briefly being taken into custody. Bruins Wrap: Brad Marchand’s Incredible Five-Point Game Leads Boston To 6-3 Win
Well that was one heck of a start to the 2016-17 Boston Bruins season. The B’s hit the road for their season opener against the Columbus Blue Jackets on Thursday night and left Nationwide Arena happy as clams following an exciting, come-from-behind 6-3 win to kick things off. Boston trailed 2-0 after one period and 3-1 early in the second, but Boston’s defense and first line took over from there. Each of Brad Marchand, David Pastrnak and David Backes scored two goals, while Marchand had an incredible five-point performance in the comeback.
